Computer self-study (Open House)
Today the Counseling Center “Motherhood” held a session on “Working with the social adaptation project for socially vulnerable families. Experts from ConsultantPlus, the Vologda Regional Rehabilitation Center for Children and Teenagers with Disabilities, and the regional branch of the Russian Social Security Fund were invited to give the training.
The attendees’ parents – representatives of the Sem ya Family Club (supervisor Inna Lotsmanovskaya) – had individual consultations on using the software that helps parents control their knowledge and skills, maintain their knowledge and make timely corrections, and quarterly assess the quality of their grades.
At the end of the session the students shared their impressions of working with specialists of ConsultantPlus:
“Working with ConsultantPlus and Garant specialists is substantive communication, relevant recommendations for training and professional growth.”
Individual consultations of a psychologist:
Today, June 24, mother Tatiana, who is raising a baby, came again to the Counseling Center “Motherhood” with questions. She also came with a whole list of tasks to be solved in the near future. According to Tatyana, this was her first experience with counseling. In the near future she is planning to “sell” her housing conditions and wants to move to a comfortable apartment close to home. She has some difficulties in communicating with her son, whose name is Timothy, and with his parents.
“We really need psychological help. Our city has a fairly well-developed psychological community. Unfortunately, there are no specialized psychologists. And it is hard to find oneself in the profession of a psychologist.”
The psychologist of the Counseling Center “Motherhood” told Tatiana about how this issue is resolved in developed countries, how she herself was looking for a profession, and what the result was. The conversation was attended by representatives of “Garant”, who gave an example of how and when professionals grow professionally in this field. Tatyana thanked the specialists of the Counseling Center for the opportunity to ask a variety of questions and wished her success in her work and to personally get to know the staff of the Counseling Center.
